Kacie Dart
(She/her)

Kacie began her Pilates practice in 2011 to manage her hypermobility/scoliosis and fell in love with the body awareness, mindfulness, and confidence Pilates practice sparks. She quit her corporate career to focus on her new passion of learning about movement. In 2013 Kacie earned her STOTT Pilates certification. Watching her clients transform from a place of pain, discomfort, and a sedentary lifestyle to a place of mobility, stability, and wellness brings her the greatest joy and inspires her to continue on her own path to wellness.

Kacie firmly believes Pilates and movement are for EVERYBODY. Her classes are known to be accessible to all and movement-focused.

When not on the mat Kacie can be found outside, reading (biomechanics, movement, YA fiction, and ecology books are her favorite), playing in the kitchen, or backpacking in the Pacific Northwest with her dog Theo and partner Devin.

  • This place is extremely welcoming to people of all different sizes and abilities. I have never felt judged and have always felt incredibly supported. Emily and Kacie are instructors who know more about anatomy and physiology than most medical professionals I have worked with. Pilates has given me back strength I never though I would regain. I highly recommend this studio (Begin Pilates).
