What exactly do I get? (Course overview)
3-4 weekly tutorial videos designed to fit into your schedule/energy level that week to be done on your own time. The videos are under 15 mins and focused on the weeks topic (ie shoulder stability). Accountability to watch the tutorial videos is built into the course; the movement principals from the tutorial videos will be included in the live zoom class (Wednesdays 11am starting 10/18). After the 45 min zoom class there will be an QA session to discuss the weeks stabilization topic, clarify any movements, trouble shoot any movements that aren’t working and general community check in.
FAQs:
What if I miss the LIVE zoom class?
A recording of the zoom class and QA will be available by 2pm PST Wednesday after the 11am live class. The class will be available for viewing as many times as you want during the duration of the course (plus 2 weeks after the course close date).
Do I get to keep the tutorial videos?
Yes! After the course close date you will receive a link to access the tutorial videos whenever you want.
Is there a demo tutorial video?
Follow this link for a shoulder stabilization video done seated with a flex band (or long scarf).
What props do I need?
Props are essential to helping our deep stabilization muscles engage but don’t need to be expensive! A stretch/flex band (or a dish towel/scarf), a mini stability ball (or a small pillow), a yoga mat (or supported firm surface) and a table chair/wall to modify kneeling positions is all that is needed to compete the course.
